In xpresso.ai, components are executed immediately on deployment. However, pipelines are not executed immediately. Developers need to run experiments on pipelines by specifying run parameters.

xpresso.ai has special provisions for monitoring experiments. By adding the appropriate code, experiments can report metrics and status back to xpresso.ai. In addition, experiments can be terminated, paused and restarted.
